Hellgate bounces banged-up Bravettes

Flathead Bravettes softball dropped an 11-4 decision to the Hellgate Knights at Kidsports Complex on Friday.

“Just proud of the kids,” Flathead coach Jack Foster said. “It’s been a long week.”

Flathead (2-14 overall, 2-9 conference) has played a slate of games while missing seven JV and varsity players to injury.

Illysa Centner has pitched every inning this week over three games.

Foster hopes to have at least one or two players back by Western AA divisionals on May 17.

“That’ll help,” he said.

Sydney Olson went 3 for 3 at the plate, doubled, and had two RBI.

Macy Craver hit 3 for 4 and tripled.
