Baseball Kalispell Lakers AA top Belgrade Bandits twice

The Kalispell Lakers AA had nine hits in each game of an American Legion baseball doubleheader on Saturday at Griffin Field in sweeping the Belgrade Bandits 11-1 and 7-4.

Ryan Symmes drove in four runs and Randy Stultz and Taylor Morton, 2 for 4, both had two RBIs in the 11-1 victory.

Logan Siblerud went the distance on the mound for Kalispell. He checked the Bandits on two hits and struck out six.

Symmes, Ben Corriveau, Jonathan Craver and Connor Drish had two hits each for the Lakers in the 7-4 victory. Morton and Drish shared mound duties with Mortin getting the win and Drish the save.

Craver doubled for the Lakers.

The Lakers host Butte AA today for a doubleheader beginning at noon.
