Kobelt, Twins A check Lakers A, 6-3
WHITEFISH — Forrest Kobelt pitched a solid six innings to get the win and helped his cause with a 2 for 3 effort, which included a double, at the plate in the Glacier Twins 6-3 victory over the Kalispell Lakers in Class A American Legion baseball play Thursday evening at Memorial Field.
Austyn Andrachick and Zach Veneman also had two hits each. Andrachick drove in two runs.
Kobelt allowed five hits, three runs, walked two batters and struck out five.
Mckade Sharra, 2 for 2, and Kaden Willis tripled for Kalispell.
The Twins (9-8 overall, 2-1 Western Division) face the Lakers A again on June 4 at 6 p.m. for a single game in Kalispell.
