More than 600 T-shirts will be distributed to runners participating in the Great Fish Color Run and Community Celebration Sept. 7. The Great Fish Poetry Slam showcases performance poetry with a goal to engage the audience. Poets perform their own work, either individually or in a group, to be judged in a competition.

Submit your entry form and a video file of you performing your original poem about the Great Fish Community Challenge to contact@whitefishcommunityfoundation.org. Up to 10 submissions will be invited to perform their entry at the Great Fish Poetry Slam during the Color Run and Community Celebration Sept. 7. The public determines the best Slammer by casting votes online until Sept. 23, and the winning entry will perform at the Great Fish Awards Celebration Oct. 10. The winning individual or group will select one 2019 Great Fish Community Challenge participating nonprofit to receive a $1,000 grant.
