Suspects allegedly use parked car as shooting target

Tuesday, Oct. 29

— An individual contacted the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office to report children in a home with adults who were allegedly dealing meth. Child Protective Services was notified.

— The sheriff’s office received an SOS signal from a vehicle via radio from a Montana Highway 35 location. The vehicle was described as a silver Toyota. Contact was made with the driver and everything was OK.

Wednesday, Oct. 30

— A caller reported an Audi that had been parked on the side of Montana Highway 35 for three days now had bullet holes all over it. The plates were traced to an owner of a Buick from Bigfork.

Thursday, Oct. 31

— A deputy from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office reported an alleged assault that reportedly occurred in Bigfork. The victim stated she was involved in an altercation with a male and was not certain if she wanted to pursue criminal charges. The victim had reportedly obtained a temporary restraining order and moved to a safe location.

— A caller on Lake Hills Drive reported a group of people exiting a residence that appeared “messed up” and suspected they were on drugs. Four individuals left in a truck and the caller gave dispatch the name of the driver. They requested medical care for a juvenile with a possible overdose. A deputy responded to the scene and found four males in a state of apparent intoxication. One was transported to Kalispell Regional Medical Center and the others were released to their parents. The males reportedly admitted to consuming an unknown amount of Xanax. No signs of alcohol were present.

Friday, Nov. 1

— A caller on Mill Camp Road reported falling victim to an online scam and was out $225.

— An individual reported finding a bag of pills near a driveway on Crestview Drive and requested a deputy retrieve them. The caller said they had the bag on them so children wouldn’t pick it up.

— A cat reportedly bit someone on Cascade Avenue and they reported the incident to dispatch. The caller stated the cat in question didn’t belong to them and that they had been to a doctor.

— Three shots were allegedly fired on or near Pommel Drive. A deputy was unable to locate the source of the reported gunfire.

Saturday, Nov. 2

— A man was spotted slumped over the wheel of a vehicle and attempts to wake him were unsuccessful. White residue was observed on his nostrils. An ambulance responded to the scene and transported the patient.

— A female was reportedly violating her restraining order by driving by the reporting party’s house and texting them throughout the day. The caller was notified that the temporary restraining order had been granted, but had yet to be served and was therefore not in effect yet.

Sunday, Nov. 3

— An individual reported their stepson was possibly overdosing and could not wake him up. The reporting party had a nasal spray used to treat overdose, but was uncertain how to administer it. Creston Fire Department responded to the scene. CPR was administered. The patient was transported to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

—A caller reported an injured deer on Swan River Road that needed to be dispatched. The deer was on the side of the road and unable to get up. The caller drove around and when they returned, the animal appeared to have died.

— An individual reported their Great Dane-mastiff mix was missing. The dog was later located.

— An employee reported a customer who had allegedly been drinking was trying to get into their vehicle. The customer was reportedly stumbling and slurring their words. The driver was later issued a citation for driving under the influence.

— A male said his female roommate just hit him during a discussion where he asked her to move out. A deputy transported the roommate to a local hotel. She allegedly admitted to lightly hitting the male upside the head, according to dispatch logs. The male agreed to get her a hotel room for the night. ¦
