Pirates down Maidens in five sets

POLSON — Misty Tenas recorded 14 kills and four blocks and Maggie Todd added 12 kills and 11 digs as the Pirates (10-7) downed visiting Ronan in five sets of volleyball action on Saturday. Scores were 25-19, 24-26, 17-25, 25-19 and 19-17.

Lena Pawloski had 17 assists and Ara Mercer had 18 digs for Polson. No stats were available for Ronan.
