Jennifer Beall Bush, 45

| October 15, 2019 2:00 AM

Jennifer Lynn Bush passed away Oct. 8, 2019, after a long and fiercely fought battle against melanoma cancer.

Jen was a loving mother to her daughter Amanda Jane Bush of Whitefish, and a loving daughter to Cheryl Klein (Robert) of Somers and Robert Beall (Annie) of Kalispell. She was an incredible friend to the many people whose lives she touched.

Jen grew up outside of Detroit and was a music fanatic of the time. She spent two years at Flathead Valley Community College, transferred to University of Montana-Missoula to complete studies and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology degree. She returned to the Flathead Valley where she then completed two years of Montessori training.

She loved family trips to the ocean, (gathering shells in the waves), camping trips around the West (gathering interesting rocks), tending her gardens (which she filled with her special rocks and shells) and taking photographs of old Western barns. She also enjoyed quiet times at home with friends and family.

Jen was a beloved cornerstone of the local Montessori community for 20 years. During her career as a teacher and an administrator, she supported and influenced many tiny humans (and their parents) with her beautiful smile and patient manner. Her knowledge of the Montessori curriculum and her ability to implement it in the classroom was unsurpassed. Jennifer made friends easily and every friend felt that they were special. When a friend was troubled she did not hesitate to take them under her wing and guide them to safety.

A daughter, mother, friend, teacher and confidant, Jennifer’s warm radiant smile and beautiful soul will warm our hearts forever. We will miss her terribly.

A celebration of Jen’s life will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26, at the Vista Linda Restaurant in Somers.

Donations to the Melanoma Research Foundation are suggested.
