Repeat offender removed from penthouse
The Flathead County Sheriff’s Department responded to a woman in the penthouse suite at a ski resort hotel yelling profanities and throwing things at a hotel employee. She had previously been removed from a lodge in Columbia Falls. She was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.
A man was concerned about his mother because she told him she “heard gunshots.” Law enforcement checked on her and reported, “there were no gun shots.”
A homeowner reported loud music coming from a camper near her house.
A man reported a would-be thief he saw breaking into his car in his driveway at night. The suspect was dressed in all black, but gave himself away with two reflective stripes down the sides of his sweatshirt. The car owner reportedly threatened to shoot the suspect, who took off running and allegedly did not steal anything from the vehicle.
A woman was overheard yelling profanities on a 911 call. She claimed not to know her address and became defensive when the dispatcher asked for information like her name and phone number. She then claimed the call was accidental.
Six horses of “all different colors” were spotted in a road in Kalispell.
A woman told the police her stepson in California had been calling her via a video conferencing app “up to 75 times a night.” The woman apparently answered the calls because she reported the content of the video calls was sexually graphic. The police advised her to change her number.
A man told the police his daughter had stolen his property, but it was apparently the third year in a row that he had made this complaint after it had already been investigated. He also claimed “drug dealers are calling his personal cell.” There was only one number he could provide, but when the officer tried to call it he found out the number belonged to a telemarketer. The officer advised the man to ask his phone service provider to block unwanted calls.
One caller requested a call from the police “regarding legalities of recording someone inside a business without their knowledge.” A separate caller requested a call “regarding pictures that were taken.”
A woman tasked with watching her friend’s daughter while the friend was undergoing surgery called the police because she didn’t “know what to do with [her] daughter.” She was worried when the friend stopped returning her phone calls and messages, but the police found out she was in the hospital following her surgery and would be released the next day.
Someone called from an animal shelter claiming there was an emergency related to a dog bite. However, when the caller was pressed for more information she said, “never mind” and hung up.
