He came in through an unspecified window

A woman told the Kalispell Police Department a burglar entered an apartment through a window. The alleged thief left mud tracks on the window and floor but apparently didn’t steal anything.

A driver reported a forgotten generator on a bridge. There were some issues taking care of it because the police could not identify the construction crew it belonged to and it didn’t fit in their patrol car.

Someone called 911, then hung up. When the police called back, the caller reported there was no emergency but “seemed very hesitant.” The caller had previously called and hung up 15 times, so she was told to turn off her phone.

An employee discovered his boiler room was damaged and found a checkbook on the floor of the room. The door had been kicked in and the pipes were damaged, but apparently nothing had been stolen.

A man texted a woman saying he was outside her house, but she told the police she didn’t see him.

A man called a woman on her work phone and asked her sexually inappropriate questions. The police decided to do an extra patrol in the area and advised her not to pick up more of the man’s calls.

A daughter was concerned about her elderly mother because no one answered at the mother’s door even though she could hear the TV on in her home. The police found the mother less than twenty minutes later and reported she was fine.

A laptop was stolen from a motel room even though the woman staying there had locked the door.

Someone thought it was suspicious a car full of juveniles took down a political sign from a yard and carried it away with them.

A thief stole someone’s cell phone right out of her hand, but the phone owner tracked the phone from her laptop so the police could meet the thief and get it back.
