Eerie growl spooks woman

A woman told Kalispell Police Department a man came to her front door and then she allegedly heard something growling on the back porch.

Police received a report from an employee who noticed what appeared to be three bullet holes in a window while taking out the trash.

A man declined to buy a generator because he was suspicious it had been stolen after it looked like a brand put on it had been melted off.

Two men supposedly threatened they were going to put another man in the hospital.

An upset woman reported her vehicle had been broken into and she reportedly thought her recently evicted neighbors may have targeted her because they threatened her before leaving.

Someone reported their mother’s car had been broken into. Officers made contact with a man who was reportedly arrested and a GPS unit in a black bag was found.

Another call came in from a man who found a sunglasses case and a bag with a GPS charger in it in his front yard. The items reportedly matched the description of items stolen from the vehicle.

A passerby saw a man and woman allegedly pushing and punching each other.

Motel guests on U.S. 93 allegedly took of with a luggage cart and staff found a hypodermic needle in their room. The luggage cart was retrieved and returned.

An officer was approached by a man who allegedly said he buys and refurbishes bicycles and wondered what to do about ones he suspected of being stolen. The officer advised him to notify police with a description and serial numbers and they could check records.

The man also told police there was a vehicle that had been empty a couple of days ago and was now full of bicycles. The officer inspected the vehicle and saw it was full of bicycles but was unable to verify serial numbers or descriptions with current reports of stolen bikes.
