Flathead spikers best Hellgate in 4
The Flathead Bravette spikers got back on track with a four set victory over Missoula Hellgate at Flathead High School on Tuesday in Western AA volleyball.
“We found our rhythm tonight and got the job done on senior night,” Flathead coach Nicole Fairclough said. “We served tough, played great defense and were smart offensively. Our seniors Kaitlyn Kalenga and Julia Burden both had a great match.”
Scores were 25-22, 16-25, 25-9, 25-13.
Burden’s big night included 12 kills, nine digs and five service aces.
Kaitlyn Kalenga had four blocks.
Flathead is 4-7 in Western AA play and 9-11 overall. Hellgate is 0-11 and 1-17.

COLUMBIA FALLS — The Wildcats beat Polson in three clean sets on Columbia Falls’ senior night on Tuesday in Northwest A play.
“C-Falls girls played hard and well and clean,” Wildkats coach Jolandie Brooks said.
Scores were 25-11, 25-11, 25-11.
Hannah Schweikert served six aces and had all 26 team digs.
