Get involved with your Bigfork Eagle
The Bigfork Eagle exists for and because of you, our readers. We appreciate and encourage your thoughtful feedback, story suggestions, questions and more. Here are a few ways you can get involved.
Submit a story idea or news tip.
We can’t be everywhere at once so we appreciate when our readers suggest an interesting local character, community event or town issue for us to investigate. Please send tips, ideas and even photos to editor Mackenzie Reiss at editor@bigforkeagle.com. Not computer-savvy? That’s OK too. Feel free to give us a call at (406) 758-4433. While we can’t promise we’ll cover every suggested item, we will look into the issue and see if it’s a good fit for the paper.
Write a letter to the
editor.
We welcome a variety of voices and opinions in our letters. We ask that letters be limited to 250 words and be relevant to the Bigfork community. Writers must include their full name, city of residence and phone number. Phone numbers will not be printed, but will be used for verification purposes. The Bigfork Eagle reserves the right to edit and/or shorten letters. Not all letters will be printed and letters that include profanity, name-calling or focus on personal issues will not be considered. Letters must be submitted via email in a format that does not require retyping, such as a Word or text document, or can simply be typed into the body of the email. Letters that have been scanned, faxed or in PDF form will not be accepted. For further guidance, call (406) 758-4433.
Send us a photo for Eagle on the Go.
Heading out of town? Don’t forget to take a paper with you! Take a photo of yourself and the Eagle during your travels and send it our way for publication in the print edition. Don’t forget to provide the names of everyone in the photo and where and when the image was taken.
Advertise with us.
