Kerry Lynn West, 68

Kerry Lynn West passed away Aug. 22, 2019, in San Antonio, Texas, from complications with cancer.

He was born on Jan. 30, 1951, in Whitefish and was the fifth child of Beryl Krejci and Byron West.

Kerry graduated from Columbia Falls High School, then joined the Navy for 14 years.

Kerry loved all genres of music, especially country and classic rock, as well as rap, which helped him identify with the boys at the Wilderness Treatment Center where he worked much of his life helping young people change their lives for the better.

He was very involved in drug and alcohol recovery programs and dedicated much of this life to AA.

Kerry is survived by his wife Debbie West, his three children, Daniel West, Liana West, and Katrina Libby, two brothers and two sisters, and eight grandchildren.

There will be an Honor Guard service and celebration of life potluck at 2 p.m. Sept. 15 at Marantette Park, 233 13th St. E, Columbia Falls.
