Person calls in stomping emergency

Someone called 911 because their neighbor was “stomping around and being loud” and he wanted an officer “to make him stop being noisy.”

A woman allegedly did a loop around a park pond and told Kalispell Police Department she thought a man passed out on a bench was “fully exposed” and had a beer can next to him. She was concerned because there were children in the park. Eventually, the man got up and left on a bike.

Someone reported a person was breaking into their house through the window, but when they said they were calling the police the person left.

A man went to mow his lawn and purportedly noticed what looked like someone trying to start a fire next to the corner of their house.

A man working out-of-state alleged his ex was trying to break into his house because she posted about it on social media. Police didn’t see any suspicious signs at the residence.

Someone reportedly had a court order to retrieve some heavy equipment from a construction site, but claimed the property owner said they would report them for trespassing if they went onto the property. The person’s questions were answered.

A man reportedly stopped to help two 8- to 9-year-old children who had a neon green mountain bicycle stolen. The children allegedly chased but lost the man, or teenager, who took it.

A woman allegedly tried to beat up another woman when she went to look at a dog. The pair was advised to leave each other alone.

A woman told officers that a jail inmate continued to contact and harass her. Detention staff reportedly said they would tell the man “to knock it off” and she was advised to block the accounts on her phone.

A man purportedly refused to leave a location and was causing a disruption and being verbally aggressive. A manager who called the complaint in said he had been “going off about the government and other random things.” The man was moved along.

A woman said her husband didn’t have a license and took her vehicle and she wanted help finding it because she didn’t know where he was headed.

A passerby purportedly thought they saw a man getting dressed in the company of a small child and though it was “weird behavior.” The child turned out to be an adult. Both people moved along.

Three chainsaws and a cooler were reported stolen out the back of a truck. The person calling in the report said they were “cable locked in,” and the cable had been cut.

A man with stringy hair was apparently back at it and causing problems at a store where he had been “trespassed” from and was refusing to leave.

Someone allegedly saw a woman spray-painting the skate park and a bicycle. They said she began screeching at them and thought she was high on methamphetamine because she was jumpy.

Officers checked the area and were unable to locate the jittery woman, however, they spoke to transients on a hill and advised them to pick up their camps and move along.
