'Frozen JR.' at Bigfork Children's Theatre

The Bigfork Playhouse Children’s Theatre opens its first production of the 2019-2020 season, “Disney’s Frozen JR.,” this weekend.

The enchanting modern classic is based on the 2018 Broadway musical, and brings Elsa, Anna and the magical land of Arendelle to life, onstage. The show features all of the memorable songs from the animated film, plus new songs written for the Broadway production.

A story of love and acceptance between sisters, “Frozen JR.” expands upon the emotional relationship and journey between Princesses Anna and Elsa. Songs include: “Let It Go,” “Do You Want To Build A Snowman?” “Love Is An Open Door,” “For The First Time In Forever,” “Hygge” and more.

Performances will be at the Bigfork Center for the Performing Arts at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Sept. 20, 21, 27 and 28, with a Sunday matinee at 2 p.m. Sept. 29. Tickets can be purchased online or at the box office one hour prior to performances. Regular ticket prices are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, $9 for students and $8 for children under 10
