Gloria America (Huff) Werntz
Gloria America (Huff) Werntz, our beautiful mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and loving friend, is in the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ after passing away Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2019.
Gloria was overflowing with love, kindness and forgiveness. She was very humble, non-judgmental and always thought of other people first. Our hearts are saddened at our loss, but also filled with the joy of knowing she’s in God’s presence.
Gloria loved her two boys with all her heart. She also loved her grandchildren with that same love, always making special times and days to be together, making sure they had the things she never had; she held them all close to her heart.
Gloria always did the right thing. She was a loving wife. She was very smart, and it was hard to understand how she could make difficult life problems and projects so easy to understand.
She brought love and joy to us all. She was the very heart of her family and will be missed by all until we meet our precious little girl again.
She excelled in many skills and worked so very hard. She farmed with her family on their tobacco farm as a child, she was a beautician, had several other jobs and ran a successful business in Kalispell for many years, providing for her family while being frugal with herself and yet so very happy.
Gloria is survived by her two sons, John “Jack” Ruther of Hamilton and Richard Ruther (Jennifer ) of Columbia Falls; her brother, Warren Huff of Middletown, Ohio; grandchildren, Krista Ruther, Lucas Ruther, Elisha Ruther, Danielle Chrismore and Ryan Ruther; great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces and friends.
Family will gather for a private service today, Sept. 21.
