Person hospitalized after fire

One person was transported the hospital for possible smoke inhalation from a structure fire Sunday.

Kalispell Fire Department was dispatched to 333 College Avenue at 5:49 a.m. Upon arrival, crews found a fully engulfed trailer house with all occupants accounted for outside of the structure. No other injuries were reported.

The residence and all belongings inside it were deemed a total loss.

The cause and origin of the fire is under investigation.

Kalispell Police Department, Evergreen Fire Department, Smith Valley Fire Department, Flathead Electric Cooperative and the American Red Cross also responded.
