Intoxicated individuals, couples' quarrels keep deputies busy

Wednesday, Feb. 5

— A caller on Beach Road requested to speak with a deputy about a vehicle that drove by at 1:50 a.m.

— Two alleged alcoholics were reportedly attempting to detox and were vomiting. The caller said she hadn’t seen her husband in an hour and was unable to check on him.

— An individual calling from Phoenix said they were having an issue with a local gallery. He had a four-year contract for a consignment sculpture with the gallery and stated they had stopped communicating with him and wanted to know what steps he should take.

— A deputy with the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office assisted Montana Highway Patrol on Montana Highway 35.

Thursday, Feb. 6

— A Volkswagen was spotted on Holt Drive with its hazard lights on and was unoccupied.

— A vehicle was reportedly in a parking lot for more than three hours. A female driver was allegedly slumped over the steering wheel. The driver reportedly told the caller she was tired from traveling and needed to sleep.

Friday, Feb. 7

— A caller on Electric Avenue reported receiving Snapchat videos from a male whom they believed was driving while intoxicated in the area. The reporting party provided the name of the individual in question and noted that in the videos the male was allegedly slurring his words. The caller said they talked the driver into meeting them at a local bowling alley and requested a deputy respond. Law enforcement made contact with a juvenile male and dropped him off with an adult.

— A caller wanted to confirm that their daughter filed a report about her ex. The reporting party later made contact with their daughter.

— An individual who had reportedly completed a remodel job for someone on Montana 35 said that person hadn’t paid them.

— A caller on Rocky Woods Lane said her daughter and her daughter’s ex-husband had been staying with them and that the husband had reportedly been drinking and was no longer welcome. The caller wanted their daughter to leave as well. The caller later stated both individuals appeared to be leaving.

— An individual on Sylvan Lane stated their son was allegedly being harassed by an older male. A deputy spoke with the son and told him to call law enforcement if he continued to receive texts from the man.

— A woman called from a local pub requesting to speak with law enforcement about an incident that had reportedly occurred that morning with her ex-boyfriend whom she’d recently broken up with. The ex-boyfriend had allegedly entered her home without her permission and then texted her the following day. The caller was advised to pursue a temporary restraining order against the male.

— A caller reported the driver of a black Dodge truck was driving recklessly on Echo Lake Road and at one point got stuck in a ditch.

Saturday, Feb. 8

—A caller reported they were going to pick up their daughter who had allegedly been fighting with her boyfriend. The reporting party said they could hear yelling in the background and was afraid of escalating the situation.

— An individual stated they did not want to return their children to their ex-wife because she had allegedly had an altercation with her boyfriend and the reporting party didn’t feel safe leaving the children there.

— A caller on Highway 83 wanted to have a motorhome towed.

— An individual at a local hotel said a tenant passed away and they were unsure what to do with their vehicle. The caller was given contact information for the next of kin.

— A dog covered in burrs reportedly showed up at an Aero Lane property. The dog was taken to Flathead County Animal Shelter.

— An individual reported two males claiming to be Jehovah’s Witnesses came to their front door one night and the back door on a different night at 8 p.m. The caller requested extra patrols.

Sunday, Feb. 9

— A home security alarm was triggered at a River Bend residence. A cat inside the residence was deemed responsible.

— A gray Mustang was reportedly swerving all over Montana 35.

— A caller on Crestview Drive reported several vehicles parked in a location where they shouldn’t be and suspected “possible drug deals.”
