Stillwater girls top FVHS for MCAA championship

HELENA – Madison Morken scored 16 points to lead three players in double figures for Stillwater Christian Saturday, in the Cougars’ 53-49 win in the MCAA girls’ basketball championship held at Carroll College.

Tournament most valuable player Selah Neumann added 12 points and Sophia Sulzbacher checked in with 10 for Stillwater, which had to withstand a late rally by the Crusaders to claim the title.

Codi Kenney hit a pair of fourth-quarter 3-pointers for FVHS, on the way to 13 points. Teammate Starlyn Davis added 10.
