Realtor rants at rowdy neighbor causing ruckus at showing

Friday, Dec. 20

— An unknown amount of subjects were reported shooting and scaring horses on Julian Lane. The caller suspected they were parked on private property but shooting onto state land. The caller’s questions were answered and they were advised that as long as the individuals were shooting safely, they were not acting against the law.

— A caller on Sunrise Terrace reported receiving harassing text messages from a female and was allegedly in the process of obtaining a protection order.

— An individual on Jewel Basin Court reported having “issues” with a neighbor who had allegedly been drinking and arguing with her. She stated he became upset and allegedly almost assaulted her. She stated she would be filing for a temporary restraining order the following week.

Saturday, Dec. 21

— A caller on Beach Road reported they were concerned that someone broke into his residence and that his calls were not being taken seriously. He asked to speak with the dispatch supervisor and wanted to set up a meeting with dispatch to explain his situation. He was advised to set up a meeting with the sheriff’s office, not with dispatch and to write out an explanation of his situation.

— An individual in Arizona reported they could not get a hold of a female resident in Bigfork and wanted someone to check on the woman in question to make sure she was alright. Contact was made and the woman was reportedly OK.

— A caller on Commerce Street requested a welfare check on a female they heard was attempting to overdose on meth. The female in question reported she was sad but was not experiencing thoughts of suicide or self harm.

Sunday, Dec. 22

— A woman on McCaffery Road reported her husband had been drinking and left in a silver Honda. She said she was concerned for his safety.

— A tow was requested for a vehicle on Montana Highway 35.

Monday, Dec. 23

— A caller reported trapping a cat that allegedly bit a child a couple months ago which they said animal control had been looking for. Dispatch informed the caller that since it had been more than 10 days, animal control was no longer interested in the feline due to the quarantine process. The caller was told that feral cats were free to roam.

— The victim of an assault was notified that their assailant had been released.

Tuesday, Dec. 24

— A caller on Cascade Avenue reported someone driving a white four-door Jeep-type of vehicle had tried to break into his house. The suspect attempted to gain entry using a spiral staircase. The reporting party’s dog alerted them to the break-in and his wife saw the suspect on the stairs.

— An individual requested a civil standby.

— A caller requested a welfare check on a man who had not made a water payment for a year and a half. The caller was concerned for the man’s mental and physical health. Deputies found the man had gone to live with someone else.

— A realtor who was showing a property on Bigfork Stage said the neighbor was “being rude and flipping off potential buyers.” The neighbor was also allegedly hooking up to the satellite on the property and refused to disconnect from it. The caller was advised that the neighbor in question would receive disorderly conduct tickets if he couldn’t control his behavior.

— An individual from Beach Road stopped by the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office to speak with a deputy about activity in their neighborhood.

Wednesday, Dec. 25

— A caller found a dog with a red collar on Highway 209 near Ferndale Market. The caller dropped the dog at the Flathead County Animal Shelter.

— An individual reported hearing someone run off their back deck on Riverside Road. The reporting party said their son had heard someone on the deck multiple times in the last week and also noticed a vehicle parked down the road.

Thursday, Dec. 26

— A caller on Village Lane reported a mini van parked in a lot for more than three days. Dispatch left a message for the registered owner.

— An individual on Rivers End reported seeing renters go through his fence to cut down a tree. The caller said he had the duo on video and noted that the incident occurred Christmas Eve. They were satisfied after later learning the renters were from out of the country.

— A caller on O’Brien Terrace said their sister’s boyfriend was trying to beat him up. The suspect allegedly attempted to punch the window of the caller’s car. He reportedly drove off in a black Nissan Xterra.
