Weekend sweep for FVHS

BOZEMAN — The Flathead Valley Homeschool Lady Crusaders enjoyed an excellent weekend in Bozeman with a four game sweep of Mt. Ellis, Bozeman Sophomores, Gallatin Valley Homeschool and Heritage Christian.

The Crusaders downed Mt. Ellis 49-28 and Bozeman Sophomores 43-27 on Friday, then defeated Gallatin Valley 41-33 and Heritage Christian 53-31 on Saturday.

On Friday night, Codi Kenney led the charge against Mt. Ellis with 15 points and Makaila Burlingame scored 16 against Bozeman Sophomores. On Saturday Aurora Howery score 9 first-half points and finished with 12 against Gallatin Valley Homeschool, followed by Burlingame dominating Heritage Christian with 23 points.

The Lady Crusaders host North Idaho Christian next Saturday at KMS.

BIGFORK — Emma Berreth scored 10 points and Isabella Santistevan added nine as the Bigfork Valkyries rolled past visiting Powell County, 36-22 on Saturday night.

The Vals led 19-15 at half and 24-20 after three quarters, but outscored Powell County 12-2 in the final frame.
