A Somers woman is charged with driving under the influence after she crashed into a Flathead County Sheriff's Office patrol vehicle on Wednesday.

According to the Sheriff's Office, the crash happened at about 10:30 p.m., in front of the Harvest Foods in Bigfork.

The deputy was northbound on Montana 35 and responding to a call for service in Many Lakes when a southbound passenger van attempted to turn into Harvest Foods and struck the deputy’s patrol vehicle on the driver side. The deputy and the two occupants of the van were not injured.
