A business owner told Flathead County Sheriff’s Office their employees were uncomfortable leaving because a barefoot man reportedly was found sleeping under a stairway and refused to leave when asked.

A man yelled that he was going to shoot someone on Grand Drive and kept reaching up his jacket before returning to the balcony of his room.

A bartender on Montana 35 saw a drunk man with shaggy hair chasing a woman around the building until she ran back inside. She told deputies he had assaulted her but didn’t want to pursue criminal charges. The pair were separated for the night.

A woman calling from Fox Ridge Lane wanted law enforcement to “take away” a man dressed all in black sitting in the road near her residence. He told deputies he was hiking north toward Canada. Deputies oriented him northward and warned him about private property, wildfires and border closures. When the man claimed he was homeless, deputies said it may be prudent to plan for winter since it comes fast.

“Not so appropriate” graffiti was discovered all over a stage by a woman setting up for a concert and she wanted the OK from deputies to spray paint over it.
