Best Of Bigfork Reception Next Week

An event celebrating the Best of Bigfork will take place on October 26 in the lobby of the Bigfork Center for the Performing Arts from 5:30-7:00. The event is open to the public and will include food and refreshments. The Best of Bigfork edition will run October 27 with our regular publication.

Bigfork Rotary Club Receives Large Donation

Rotary Club of Bigfork President Serena Keller said with the help of Rick Janisse and other club members, $10,000 in cash has been donated to the Rotary, as well as a 22 V Tunnel Legend boat from an anonymous donor. Keller said the boat is currently valued at $25,000 and will be sold at auction in the spring. She said a portion of the cash donation will go towards fixing minor repairs on the boat, which will be repaired and stored for the winter. She said the rest of the cash donation will be used to support the Rotary’s Backpack program, or other similar programs that provide food to children, as requested by the donor.
