Whitefish Community Foundation accepting fall grant applications
The Whitefish Community Foundation is accepting community grant applications from eligible nonprofits until 4 p.m. on Sept. 30.
Organizations eligible for the grants include 501(c)(3) nonprofits, 501(c)(4) service organizations and 501(c)(6) trade organizations that provide programs or services for residents of the Flathead Valley or Eureka.
Grant applicants also must provide proof of their tax-exempt status. Organizations participating in the 2021 Great Fish Community Challenge aren’t eligible for community grants.
The Whitefish Community Foundation offers two community grant cycles each year, and organizations can apply annually for up to $4,000.
The Whitefish Community Foundation says it has awarded $1.81 million in community grants to local nonprofits since 2000. Last year, 27 organizations received $71,458 in community grant funding.
