Event to benefit Bigfork Fire Department
Come join the 17th annual Friends of Bigfork Fire Department’s “FUN-draising” event on Friday, Sept. 8th, starting at 5:00 p.m. at the Harbor Village Pavilion in Eagle Bend (corner of Canal St & Marina Way, Bigfork). Won’t you please show your appreciation to our Fire and Ambulance Department by attending?
Our BBQ is sponsored and served by First Interstate Bank. Meal tickets are $5 for children (under 12) $10 for adults and $25 for a family of four. Beer and wine, sodas and water will be served. Fire engines and other emergency response vehicles will be there for you and your family to see up close.
As always, the fun includes the “Niner-Niner” golfing event at Eagle Bend’s “Osprey Nine” course on Friday noon, Sept 8. Sorry, but the roster has been filled. Glacier Bank hosts a refreshment tent and sponsors four $250 prizes for “Closest to the Hole”. Our Margarita tent is sponsored by National Parks Realty.
Come play Pickleball at the “Jewel Basin Center” on Thursday, Sept. 7 for mixed doubles. Entry fee is $50 per person. Contact Jill Rae at (406-407-8780). Rocky Mountain Bank is providing lunch and water.

Stage I Fire restrictions prohibit the following acts until further notice:
Building, maintaining, attending, or using a fire or campfire.
Smoking, except within an enclosed vehicle or building, a developed recreation site or while stopped in an area at least three feet in diameter that is barren or cleared of all flammable materials.
West Shore Community Library kids summer program
The West Shore Community Library will be hosting a Summer Fun Experience program for children ages 3-14. Each age group will receive materials they can use to complete their “bingo” sheet with family members and friends.
There is no need to sign up, but do stop by the library to find out about the program. And then join us on August 26 from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. for a community ice cream party.
Lakeside Community Club’s Summer Fair
The Lakeside Community Club would like to remind everyone that we accept donations for The Fair (in July) all year round.
