Did you know that the Bigfork Art and Cultural Center is the oldest non-profit organization in Flathead Valley?

The nonprofit was created in the late 1970s to showcase the village’s unique culture and to energize the desire to create.

Original visionary members included Les and Ginny Averill, Sam Stephens, and Ruth and Joe Sliter, who purchased a gas station and converted it into Bigfork’s first art center.

Many decades later, the Bigfork Art & Cultural Center has evolved into a creative and educational hub that inspires people of all ages through a wide variety of workshops, lectures, and learning opportunities.

BACC shares cultures through art and story stewardship. This is BACC’s way of bridging the connection between our past and the future we wish for our children, ourselves, and our world.

We hope that you find the good works of BACC invaluable, as we need your financial support to continue onward as the backbone of Bigfork’s arts community.

BACC has successfully raised $20,000 this year, with a goal of $75,000 which will sustain current operations, programs and exhibits moving forward into 2024.

Expect the “Art of Summer” fundraiser to exceed your expectations. Included in your ticket price will be charcuterie by Desoto Grille, BBQ by Bill Gouge, desserts by Buckaroo Bakery, a nice selection of wine and beer, live music by Archertown, interactive art and history exhibits, plus a live and silent auction! thanks to our event sponsors; The Nest on Swan River and Flathead Lake Brewing.Instagram and Facebook.
