BRIEFS - Week of August 14
Swan Lake construction update
The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) and LHC Inc. plan to work on the northern segment of the project near the lake, weather permitting. Crews are working between mile markers 70 and 78 on Montana Highway 83 (MT 83).
The week of August 14:
Guardrail work is nearing completion along the west side of the highway, closest to the lake.
Traffic control in place. Anticipate single-lane closures, 10 to 15-minute delays, temporary traffic lights, and pilot cars.
The next phase of the project includes milling and paving work, which is planned for later this month.
West Shore Community Library kids summer program
The West Shore Community Library will be hosting a Summer Fun Experience program for children ages 3-14. Each age group will receive materials they can use to complete their “bingo” sheet with family members and friends.
There is no need to sign up, but do stop by the library to find out about the program. And then join us on August 26 from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. for a community ice cream party.
