BLUAC to meet Thursday
The Bigfork Land Use Advisory Committee will meet downstairs at the Bethany Lutheran Church Thursday, August 31 at 4 p.m.
The committee is scheduled to hear a 30-minute presentation from the Bigfork Outdoor Recreation Alliance and also discuss the Bigfork Neighborhood Plan and the MACo Land Use training, which took place on August 24.
First Annual Bigfork High School Baseball Fundraiser
The first ever Bigfork High School Baseball fundraiser will be held at Andy’s Craft House Saturday, Sept. 16.
Enjoy music by the KJM Band along with brats, bourbon and baseball from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
Some auction items of note include a private suite at a Range Riders baseball game next season and the opportunity to throw out the first pitch at a Bigfork High School baseball game.
Two hundred tickets are available for $50 each, which includes, all the brats you can each and drink tickets.

MT 83
Construction Update
The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) and Knife River plan to start work on the southern segment of the project the week of August 28. Crews will be working between mile markers 70 and 65, and 53 and 47 on Montana Highway 83 (MT 83).
Travelers can expect pavement removal beginning, traffic control in place, including single-lane closures, 10 to 15-minute delays, temporary traffic lights, and to be guided through the project area by pilot cars.
