Here are the calls for service made to the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office from the Bigfork area over the past few weeks.
Nov. 18
A person complained about their neighbor “pointing a camera into their apartment” as part of an escalation of a dispute involving the caller’s dog. The neighbor accused the dog of attacking people.
A large brown and gray motorhome was partially blocking the eastbound lane of Montana 35.
Nov. 21
A pair of road rage incidents were reported in the Bigfork area, including one where a driver tailgated another from Ferndale into town while honking at him. The gray Toyota Tacoma eventually stopped following and headed toward Bigfork High School.
Nov. 23
Male called dispatch reporting that his wife was “Drunk out of her mind” yelling that he had hit her and that he was choking her. Law enforcement made contact and found the female to be “heavily intoxicated.”
Nov. 25
Caller reported that two slash piles near a house under construction had been lit on fire and left unattended, despite there being fuel cans nearby.
Nov. 30
Caller believes his upstairs neighbor mistreats his German shepard. Caller said the dog was really sick recently because the neighbor let it eat “a lot” of chocolate. Caller said he believes the dog has been left at home alone for the last few days.
