Vals swimmers in action at Flathead Invite

The Valkyries swim team opened their season in Kalispell over the weekend as they competed at the Summit for the Flathead Invite.
Danika Bucklin led the way for the Vals with a 12-place finish in the 100 freestyle with a time of 1:08.46 and 15th in the 50 freestyle at 29.72 seconds.
Alexandra Cash was 20th in the 200 freestyle and Ashlyn McGill took 20th in the 100 breaststroke.
Erika Dowling, Anna Thompson, Ellena Peterson, Gillian Sanford, Maci Pickens, Emma Benn and Kylie Kinslow were also in action for the Vals at the meet.
The Vals will be in action for a meet at Polson Friday.
