Here are the calls for service made to the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office from the Bigfork area over the past few weeks.
Dec. 4
A Bigfork man told dispatch he would be up all night “watching for bad guys” after he claimed someone was “messing with him” and shut his electricity off at his home.
A person reported that a man had stolen a bluetooth speaker and headphones and was trying to sell them.
Dec. 6
There was a report of a person shooting a gun from a vehicle headed towards Bigfork.
Dec. 8
A caller reported having hit and killed a golden retriever wearing a hunter green collar.
A caller reported hearing gunshots near the “fishing access.”
Dec. 9
A Bigfork person reported that their home had been broken into and “gone through” while they were away for a few days.
A caller reported that their boyfriend was “destroying the house.”
Dec. 11
A person reported their door had been kicked in. It was unknown at the time if anything had been stolen.
A Lakeside person complained their neighbors had a bonfire and were shooting off fireworks. The person was very unhappy about county ordinances allowing this and was advised to speak with the County Commissioners about it. He refused to speak with a deputy.
Another Lakeside person reported hearing what he thought were fireworks, “but they could also be gunshots,” and wanted someone to check it out.
A Bigfork person reported a theft, saying the thief came back a second night to steal more items.
Dec. 12
A Bigfork person called to complain about a gray Jeep speeding in the alley behind their location.
Dec. 15
Two reports of vehicles in Lakeside being broken into and items stolen from within.
Dec. 16
A man was reported to have stopped his vehicle in front of a night security guard at a location in Lakeside and then proceeded to urinate in front of him.
Dec. 19
A Bigfork man was cautioned on the misuse of 911 after calling to complain about hearing vehicles running in front of his house.
Dec. 21
A vehicle was stolen in Somers overnight.
