Marvel White, 83

Marvel Lewis White, age 83, peacefully passed away on December 15, 2023, with his family by his side, at his home in Missoula. 

Marv was born in San Jose, CA in 1940 to Wilson and Elizabeth White. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Joe. Marv leaves behind his wife of 62 and a half years, Helen, sons Terry (Sabrina) and Mike (Rey), grandchildren Leone and Kyle, sister Diane Fragie of Merced, CA, and brother Don of Norfork, AR.

Marv grew up in Bloomfield, MO, and moved to Los Gatos, CA, at the start of his junior year in high school. He raised his family in San Jose, CA, and retired to Bigfork, MT, in 1993. He spent his last two years at the Springs in Missoula, MT.

A proud and skilled carpenter, Marv was also a devoted 49ers and Griz fan and an avid hunter and golfer. He was a loving husband and father, leaving behind cherished memories that will be dearly missed by all his friends and family.
