Contest calls for Bigfork high school students to design bank cards

Glacier Bank is holding a contest to design a custom debit card for Bigfork High School.

The contest is open to all Bigfork High School students with the winner receiving a $100 gift card to a local business of their choice.

“We are so excited to be offering this design contest to Bigfork students. We really wanted to create a Debit/ ATM card image that is representative of Bigfork Schools and thought who better to design that than Bigfork High School students,” Vice President and Bigfork Branch Manager Jill Parish said.

Entries are due by April 14 and must adhere to several guidelines.

Text and logos should fall no closer than 0.125inches (3 mm) from the edge of the card. The card design should allow for a Glacier Bank logo and a white box in the lower right corner with “DEBIT” above it.

The bank logo and required Visa elements will be added by Glacier Bank.

Artwork should be submitted using PMS or CMYK colors (not RGB). JPEG images are acceptable in CMYK if high resolution. Low resolution images will not be accepted.

Other acceptable file formats include ai, eps, psd, or pdf.

The winner will be selected by Glacier Bank and will be subject to VISA approval.

Glacier Bank customers who choose the design for their card will pay a $5 charge, with those funds being donated to Bigfork High School.
