Children’s Theatre to host two shows in December
The Bigfork Playhouse Children’s Theatre presents “A Touch of Christmas” – Brach Thomson & Friends in concert, Saturday December 2nd at 7:30 p.m. at the Bigfork Center for the Performing Arts.
A Touch of Christmas is a fundraising concert to benefit the Bigfork Playhouse Children’s Theatre – right after the Holiday Parade. Hot cocoa and peppermint schnapps and hot buttered rums will be available.
The public is invited to come support BPCT and have a great evening of Holiday entertainment.
Brach Thomson will play rock, fusion, jazz, funk, blues and more to familiar Christmas favorites. Attendees can watch and enjoy as he plays live on multiple keyboards, synthesizers and piano. “…just like Manheim Steamroller Christmas and Transiberian Orchestra”
All music is arranged by Thomson using MIDI and computer to give the feel of a larger orchestra and rock/Jazz combos.
Special guests include Richel and Steve Kompst, 8 is Enough - a special SSA women’s group, Vocal Vertigo and BPCT Choirs.
Admission is $10, with all proceeds going to Bigfork Playhouse Children’s Theatre.
This performance is holiday fun for the entire family. For more information, call 837-4886 or email bpct@bigforksummerplayhouse.com or check our website at www.bigforksummerplayhouse.com.
Tickets for both shows will be available online and at the door with the box office opening one hour prior to the performance.
Later in December, The Bigfork Playhouse Children’s Theater invites everyone to watch the awesome-gnarly 80s musical ‘A Totally Awesome Christmas Carol” - a classic family favorite with an 80’s twist- on December 8, 9, 10, 15, 16 and 17.
Set in the 1980s, this retelling of the Charles Dickens classic will have new life, new music, an 80s gnarly flair, a visit to his past in the 50’s and several iconic 80s personalities.
Don’t be a dweeb-o-rama, come celebrate Christmas with us at a Totally Awesome Christmas Carol! This is a wonderful place to bring the whole family.
