Construction Update

The week of October 2, travelers can expect:

Crews placing temporary pavement markings between mile markers 47 and 71. Final pavement markings are expected next year.

Bridge deck repairs occurring between mile markers 47 and 54. Repairs are expected to be complete by the end of the week.

Traffic control in place, including single-lane closures, 10 to 15-minute delays, reduced speeds, temporary traffic lights, and pilot cars guiding traffic through the project area.

An 11-foot width restriction in place on MT 83. Wide loads will be accommodated as needed through the Swan Lake project area.

Other construction projects on MT 83 have traffic control and width restrictions in place. Be prepared for delays before you leave.

Community Meeting

Join Mary Flowers of Citizens for a Better Flathead at Bethany Lutheran Church for a discussion about the housing developments planned in the Bigfork area.

The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday.
