The Vals got a triple-double from Paeten Gunlock Saturday and 20 points from Braeden Gunlock in back-to-back games last week as the Bigfork girls pushed their winning streak to eight games.

Gunlock recorded a rare high-school triple-double with 13 points, 10 assists and 10 steals while adding five rebounds as the Valkyries took down Columbia Falls 55-27 at home Saturday.

Bigfork led just 14-7 after one quarter but pulled away over the next 24 minutes to earn a convincing win.

Braeden Gunlock led the Bigfork scoring attack with 20 points and added six rebounds, four assists and four steals while Afton Lambrecht led the way in rebound with 10 and added seven points.

Ava Davey also scored seven points in the win to go along with two assists and two steals while Keni Wade and Callie Gembala added four points each.

It was all Valkyries in Libby Thursday as Bigfork had no trouble downing the Lady Loggers 60-15.

Braeden Gunlockā€™s 20 points led the way, along with 13 rebounds and five steals, while Paeten Gunlock finished with 13 points, seven assists and four steals.

Davey added seven points, Gembala had six, Haley Schara scored four, Wade had three points and four steals, Chloe Norred had two points and Kegan Campbell and Payton Benson each had one point.

The Valkyries were scheduled to host Browning Thursday, but weather conditions have forced the game to be moved to Friday evening.
