Last week’s cold and snowy weather forced the postponement of several Vikes and Vals sporting events, including boys and girls basketball, wrestling and swimming.

The Vikes were scheduled to make the trip to Browning for basketball Thursday while the Vals were to host the Lady Indians, but those games have been moved to Tuesday, Jan. 13 with the tip-off for each set for 7:15 p.m.

The Vikes and Vals basketball squads will be in action Friday as both teams travel to Whitefish with the boys getting underway at 6 p.m.

The Vals travel to Ronan to face the Maidens at 2:30 p.m. Saturday while the Vikings will host Ronan at 4 p.m.

The Valkyries swim meet against Flathead at the Summit in Kalispell was set for last week, but has been moved to Saturday beginning at 9 a.m.

The Vikes and Vals wrestling at Corvallis was scheduled for Thursday, but was canceled.

No make up date has been announced.

The teams will be in action in Butte Friday and Saturday.
