Elves needed for Christmas preparations next weekend
Bigfork Village is only a few weeks from becoming a Christmas village and the Elves are looking for helping hands starting Saturday, Nov. 16.
The day will kick off with a free breakfast at the Garden Bar at 8 a.m. From there, Lead Elf Michelle Mank will give further instructions and split up the group to help with cutting trees, making new bows and fluffing old ones at Taco Loco or checking light strands at the Garden Bar.
Trucks and trailers that can be provided to help in the transportation of trees would be appreciated. Bring work gloves and dress for the weather. Landowners with trees they wish to donate themselves can drop off trees between 4 to 5 feet in the grassy area between Bigfork Inn and the parking lot or the area between Lake Baked and Bigfork Anglers Fly Shop. Trees longer than 5 feet obstruct parking and visibility.
There are jobs available for all skill levels, ability and mobility, come down and join a Bigfork tradition!
The official Decorating Day will take place the following Saturday, Nov. 23 with crews to gather around the Bigfork Inn at 8 a.m.
For questions, contact Mank at 406-407-5748.
