Bigfork High School Jazz Band Fundraiser
Support the Bigfork High School Jazz Band as they prepare for their trip to the University of Idaho Jazz Festival. A luau-themed night filled with delicious food and incredible music is planned for April 4 at 6 p.m. at Andy’s Crafthouse. Tickets are $20.
Fly-fishing Film Fest
The International Fly-fishing Film Festival is April 5 at the Bigfork Summer Playhouse. Doors open at 6 p.m., and the film begins at 6:45 p.m. The festival showcases the passion, lifestyle and culture of fly fishing.
Sundowner at brewery
The Bigfork Chamber's next Sundowner networking event is April 10 at the Flathead Lake Brewery cohosted with Bigfork Rotary from 5 to 6:30 pm. The public is welcome and there is no cost to attend.
Reed's Slough grand opening
Celebrate the grand opening of the Reed’s Slough Wildlife Viewing Area on Saturday, April 12, from 10-11 a.m. at the corner of Manning and North Somers Road, Kalispell. This new viewing area is situated on private land graciously provided by the Danford family and is protected by a conservation easement held by Flathead Land Trust. Thanks to funding from Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks and partners, the public can now enjoy this vital wetland habitat, a key stop for migratory waterfowl.
Community Choir
The Columbia Falls Community Choir is preparing for their spring concert at the Columbia Falls High School Little Theater on Saturday, April 12 at 7 p.m. This year’s concert features music to celebrate family and friends. The concert is directed by Steven Holte and accompanied by Dawn Hashley. A freewill offering will be accepted.
Bigfork Job Fair
The Bigfork Job Fair is April 16 at Bigfork High School. The fair is an opportunity to meet with employers from Bigfork and the Flathead Valley who are looking for employees. The fair is open to Bigfork students from 1-3 p.m. Encore and retirees can attend 3:30-4:30 p.m., and general public is welcome from 4:30-5 p.m.
Water and sewer meeting
Bigfork Water and Sewer District Board Meeting will take place at 6 p.m. on April 16 at the high school community room, 600 Commerce Street.
