Children’s Theatre holding auditions for ‘NEWSIES!’

The Bigfork Playhouse Children's Theatre is excited to announce auditions for its upcoming production of Disney’s “NEWSIES!” This high-energy musical, packed with show-stopping numbers and inspiring storytelling, is a fantastic opportunity for students to take the stage and bring this beloved Broadway hit to life. 

Auditions will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 18 at the Bigfork Playhouse Children’s Theatre Center located at 833 Grand Drive, Bigfork, MT.  Students in grades 5 and 6 will audition from 4:30 – 6 p.m. and students in grades 7 through 12 will audition from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.  

Please prepare a 30 second monologue or short selection from another play or book.  Plan to learn and sing something at the audition. Wear comfortable shoes that you can move and dance in. No experience? No problem! We will have materials at the theatre for you. BPCT welcomes all young performers who are eager to step into the world of theatre and be part of an exciting, ensemble-driven production. 

Performance Dates are March 14, 15, 16 and March 21, 22, 23, 2025 Note: Bigfork Spring Break begins March 22.  

Not interested in stage work but would like to be involved? Give us a call!
