Buffalo Bridge remains identified

Lake County Sheriff's Office announced the identity of the human remains located at Buffalo Bridge on Feb. 4 has been determined by the Montana State Medical Examiner's Office to be 54-year-old Danette Tenas of Ronan. Tenas was reported missing from the Buffalo Bridge area on October 14, 2024.  The cause and manner of death are still under investigation by the Lake County Coroner's Office.   

“We extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Ms. Tenas,” Lake County Sheriff Don Bell said in a press release.
