Bigfork Summer Playhouse presents 'Something Rotten!'
Get ready for side‑splitting fun this summer as Bigfork Summer Playhouse opens its production of "Something Rotten!" running from July 5 through Aug. 20, at 8 p.m. at the Bigfork Summer Playhouse, now celebrating its 66th season of live professional musical theater.
A musical mash‑up meets Shakespearean spoof, "Something Rotten!" tells the story of brothers Nick and Nigel Bottom, desperate for fame in the Renaissance era. When a soothsayer predicts the future of theater includes singing, dancing, and acting all at once, hilarity ensues as they set out to write the very first musical — complete with over‑the‑top characters, witty banter and unforgettable show‑stopping songs like “God, I Hate Shakespeare” and “Hard to Be the Bard.”
Tickets are available at the Box Office (daily noon to showtime), by phone at (406) 837‑4886, or online a bigforksummerplayhouse.com.
