Flathead County Commissioners vote down Phase I of proposed North Shore Woods Development
Citing concerns about the possible impacts of future development, the Flathead County commissioners voted unanimously to deny the preliminary plat for a portion of the proposed North Shore Woods housing development Tuesday morning.

Vikings to face Broncs in cold weather Friday
Weather could be a big factor Friday as the Vikings travel to Hamilton to face the Broncs in the opening round of the State A football playoffs. Temperatures are expected to be in the mid 20s with a 25% chance of snow at the scheduled kickoff of 7 p.m. as six-seeded Bigfork (4-4) looks to score an upset over third seed Hamilton (6-2).

County Planning Board recommends approval of 51 homes in North Shore Woods
After being tabled twice since August and a lengthy discussion Wednesday, the Flathead County Planning board voted to recommend the approval of the proposed North Shore Woods subdivision in Bigfork last night, but only part of it.
